Xin-Fu Restaurant was established in 1949 and is currently managed by Chen Qiu-Ting, the daughter of Lu Rui-Yuan, who is the daughter-in-law of the first owner. Lu Rui-Yuan’s exceptional culinary skills were learned from her father-in-law when she married to Zhudong. The legacy of local Hakka flavor is passed down from the founder Chen Fu-Jian, and the restaurant continues to play a key role in presenting authentic dishes that celebrate the legacy of Hakka cuisine.
