This work is installed by the lake in the Sanken Ecological Park by Dahan River as a way to memorialize the ancestors’ gratitude for the source of benefit. Like a giant of history, the old, time-worn camphor tree comprising steel plates and camphor wood stands majestically on a small hill by the lake, with a camphor seedling nestling against it.
